Transfer and Visitor Applicants to the Oregon Law J.D. Program
Expand your opportunities. Come study at the University of Oregon School of Law and build upon your existing legal education while enhancing your professional network. At Oregon Law, you will have the opportunity to engage in multiple programs nationally recognized for their excellence, including Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Appropriate Dispute Resolution, Legal Research and Writing, and Public Service Initiatives.
Be a part of a lively and energetic community perfectly positioned between the Cascades and the Pacific coast! Eugene boasts amazing options usually found in cities of much larger size including the Saturday Market, the oldest weekly open-air market in the United States. Most are within easy walking or biking distance of campus.
Experience white-water rafting, fishing, skiing, hiking, running, and rock climbing — minutes from your doorstep. We even have river rapids on campus, just next to Autzen Stadium, home of the Oregon Ducks.
Oregon Law welcomes applications from students who wish to transfer to or visit at the law school for a semester or a year in either your second or third year. You may apply to transfer to Oregon Law as a second-year law student after completing your first year at another ABA-approved law school. Learn more about how to apply HERE.
The University of Oregon School of Law has no established articulation agreements with any other ABA accredited law school.
We offer a competetive scholarship program for students who transfer to Oregon Law. The Application for transfer and visiting students is available at LSAC.org, or by clicking on the "Application" link below. The application is free.
