Maps and Directions

Knight Law Center area mapThe Interactive Campus Map is a new way to locate information on the University of Oregon campus. You can precisely locate and find information about buildings, classrooms, departments, programs, offices, eateries, residence halls, trees, and art on campus. You can search for entries by name or by using keywords. You can also simply browse the map and see alternate views by turning on and off map themes such as “Air Photo.” Adobe Flash plug-in required

Directions

From The North
Take Interstate 5 south to Eugene and turn onto the I-105 Westbound exit (exit 194b). From I-105, take the first exit for Eugene Downtown/Coburg Road. This is a split exit, so stay in the left-hand lane for Eugene Downtown and the UO. After you merge, move into the left lane as you go over the Ferry Street Bridge. This lane will become the right lane after the overpass. Continue as the road curves left (this is now Broadway). Get in the left lane as Broadway merges into Franklin Blvd and continue to the main University entrance at Agate Street. Turn right onto Agate and continue to 15th (just across from Hayward Field and the track facilities).

An alternate route avoids downtown, particularly helpful during heavy traffic. From I-5: Do not take the I-105 exit. Instead, continue on I-5 over the river to the Glenwood exit (exit 191). Turn right at the stop sign (onto the overpass) and right again immediately after the overpass onto the I-5 northbound ramp. Once you’re on the ramp, stay in the right lane. This becomes the Franklin Blvd./UO exit. Follow directions as from the South.

From The South
Take Interstate 5 north to the Eugene/Franklin Blvd./UO exit (exit 192). This merges with Franklin Blvd. westbound. Get in the left lane of Franklin and continue to the main University entrance at Agate Street. Turn left onto Agate and continue to 15th (just across from Hayward Field and the track facilities).

From The East
Take US Hwy. 26 West to Prineville then OR Hwy. 126 to Sisters and connect with US Hwy. 20, or from the Southeast, go West on US Hwy. 20 through Bend. On the West side of the passes, turn left onto OR Hwy. 126. This highway will head directly in to Springfield. Past 57th St., Hwy. 126 will split off to the right. Turn right and continue on Hwy. 126. At the intersection with I-5, Hwy. 126 becomes I-105. From there, continue as with the From the North directions.

NOTE: To avoid the Ferry Street Bridge during heavy traffic periods, do not turn right on to Hwy. 126 in Springfield. Instead, continue straight on Main (which is Hwy. 126 (business), and go through Springfield. This will become Franklin Blvd.; once you have passed under I-5, continue as with the From the South directions.

For travelers coming from the Southeast, it may be more convenient to use OR Hwy. 58, which connects with I-5 south of Eugene. From there, continue as with the From the South directions.

During inclement weather and for travelers from the Northeast, take I-84 west to the East-side of Portland. Turn South at I-205 and continue to where I-205 meets I-5 and merge with the Southbound traffic. From there, continue as with the From the North directions.

From The West
Newport and coastal points North: Take US Hwy. 20 from Newport to I-5 East of Corvallis and turn right for the Southbound lanes. From there, continue as with the From the North directions. Florence and East Lane County: Take OR Hwy. 126 East to Eugene. Turn right at the intersection with Bailey Hill Road (there is a stop light there), and continue on Bailey Hill to the next stop light. At the light, turn left on to 18th. Continue East on 18th for roughly four miles to Agate Street.  At Agate Street turn left and proceed until 15th Street  (just across from Hayward Field and the track facilities).

( Coos Bay and coastal points South: At Reedsport take OR Hwy. 38 East to I-5 and merge with the Northbound traffic. From there, continue as with the From the South directions.
